Operatives of the Maiduguri Zonal Command of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) have intercepted 21 vans loaded with meals and non-food objects destined for N’djamena, Chad Republic, Central African Republic, and Cameroon.
In keeping with an announcement signed by Dele Oyewale, Head of Media and Publicity at EFCC, the interception happened on Tuesday.
He acknowledged that the vans had been apprehended in a sting operation performed at main exit routes alongside Kalabiri/Gamboru Ngala and Bama roads, positioned in Borno State.
In keeping with him, an investigation into the seized vans revealed that they had been transporting meals objects cleverly hid, which might have possible escaped detection if not for the vigilant efforts of EFCC operatives.
