The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Kano State Command, has deployed 1,384 operatives throughout church buildings and strategic places.
This growth is supposed to ensure peaceable and hitch-free Good Friday and Easter Monday festivities throughout the state.
That is contained in a press release by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Abdullahi, a duplicate of which was made to Foxiz NIGERIA on Friday.
“The State Commandant, NSCDC Kano Command, Mohammed Falala, has directed the deployment of 1,384 personnel throughout church buildings and strategic locations,” the assertion learns.
By him, personnel had been drawn from the assorted departments of the command to ease the trouble of these on the divisional workplaces and offer satisfactory safety throughout and after the Easter celebrations.
“The departments embody Operation Division, Important Nationwide Property Safety Division, Armed Squad and Anti Vandalism Models,” Abdullahi added.
On Thursday, the Federal Authorities declared Friday, March 29, and Monday, April 1, 2024, as public holidays for Christians within the nation to have a good time: Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.
