The Chairman of the Ifelodun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Olufemi Okeowo, began disbursing bursary allowances to students and other social security interventions on Wednesday as palliatives to fight economic hardship.
The Senior Particular Assistant to the state Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, gave the spotlight on the interventions via a publication he shared on his X deal on Wednesday.
In keeping with his publication, about N10m has been set aside for disbursement to 200 disadvantaged college students of upper establishments who are LCDA residents.
“Right now, the Chairman of the Ifelodun Native Council Growth Space, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, is rolling out large palliative measures for folks.

“N10m will be disbursed to college students and residents of Ifelodun LCDA in larger establishments (100 college students have now been extended to 200). N10,000 will also be provided for 500 youth in Ifelodun LCDA for six months.
“N50,000 every for 100 petty merchants. Social Safety for Younger Households within the Ifelodun LCDA.
N100,000 money was switched to farmers in Ifelodun LCDA. N100,000 money switch to excellent vocational college students.
“1,000 for susceptible households in Ifelodun LCDA monthly, to realize 6,000 households in six months. Free check-ups and fundamental drugs are provided for six months. And plenty of extra tasks, together with developing a new fashionable major healthcare centre, one borehole per ward (seven), and rehabilitating major faculties,” Gawat wrote.
