Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has congratulated the administration of PUNCH Newspaper for sustaining the legacy of its founder, Chief James Aboderin.
Obasanjo said this on the black-tie dinner of PUNCH Newspapers, commemorating its fiftieth anniversary on the Eko Lodge and Suite, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday.
Obasanjo who urged the administration to proceed to maintain the flag flying, said that Aboderin’s goals of creating PUNCH Newspaper have been achieved.
He mentioned, “Let me congratulate you. These of you who’ve saved the flag flying for the reason that demise of my good buddy and good colleague, Olu Aboderin.
“His goal has been fulfilled. I need to urge these of you after him to maintain the flag flying.
