The widow of the late former governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has knocked her husband’s niece, Funke Akeredolu Aruna, for supporting the incumbent governor, Fortunate Aiyedatiwa, forward of the governorship election within the state.
In a publication on her Instagram web page on Monday morning, Betty described Funke as shameless, including that point will inform if she is “actually fortunate”.

The late governor’s spouse wrote, “Behold the face of Aketi’s niece, Funke Akeredolu Aruna, the previous deputy chief protocol to Aketi, shamelessly parades as ‘I’m fortunate’ Bloody serpent! Time will inform if she is actually fortunate!”
Fortunate Aiyedatiwa was sworn in because the Governor of Ondo State on December 27, 2023, following the loss of life of his former boss, Akeredolu, who died of prostate most cancers in Germany on the age of 67.
