The Tutorial Workers Union of Universities, Taraba State College chapter, on Thursday, appealed to Governor Agbu Kefas to pay the N1.7 billion collected earned Tutorial and promotional allowances owed to employees of the college since 2014.
That is even because the Union lamented the extended delay within the cost of their withheld salaries, noting that with every day passing with out the cost of those excellent salaries, the monetary pressure on their members intensifies, pushing them additional into misery and uncertainty.
Addressing a press convention on the ASUU home on the Taraba State College, the Chairperson of the Union, Dr. Garba Mbave, stated the non-payment of promotion arrears and withheld salaries not solely create monetary pressure for members but in addition erodes their morale and diminishes their belief within the equity and integrity of the establishment.

Whereas commending the governor for the renovation of scholars’ hostels and slashing of charges for undergraduate college students, the union urged the federal government to take decisive motion on the problems of excellent earned educational allowances, withheld salaries, promotional arrears, and development of a parameter fence for the college.
