From sources, Foxiz Nigeria gathered that because they were unable to transport him overseas, he was cared for by State House physicians till his passing. The source declared, “Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos.” After a three-month medical leave in Germany, the ill governor returned to Nigeria in September. He hasn’t taken a leave of absence since President Bola Tinubu ordered him to transfer control to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
