His Royal Highness Victor Chukwumalieze, the Obi of Onicha Ugbo in the Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, has suspended the holding of the Ogbekenu Youths election in the kingdom.
While speaking to young people who had come to his palace to update him on the proposed election, the monarch made the proclamation.
He said that an unresolved electoral security issue was the reason behind his decision to postpone the vote.
He urged the youths to put themselves in order and prepare adequately for the election in due course after the upcoming Ine festival in the kingdom.
