A former Home of Representatives member, Hon. Sylvester Ogbaga has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Occasion, PDP.
Ogbaga represented Abakiliki/lzzi federal constituency of Ebonyi State from 1999 to 2023.
He introduced this in a resignation letter dated April 24, 2024, addressed to the Chairman, PDP Anmegu Enyigba ward and copied to the LGA and the state chairmen of the occasion.
He mentioned, “l am writing to formally inform you of my resignation from PDP. After a cautious analysis and consideration of the present political state of the occasion, l need to take a depart.
“I’ve remained a member of PDP since 1998 and have contributed my quota to the event of the occasion with large sacrifices and help.
“It’s with each sense of accountability l wish to emphasize that it is a private choice. I thanks in your distinctive management model and help.
“Lastly, wishing my former occasion the PDP nicely in her future endeavours.”
