Sen. John Fetterman, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, restated his disapproval of activists advocating for a cease-fire in Gaza and criticized fellow Democrats for their “outrageous” reaction to the attacks launched by Iran against Israel in an interview with Foxiz News.
“It’s neither suitable nor lawful nor beneficial to promote your viewpoint by showing up at a Starbucks with a bullhorn and beginning to shout at people,” he conveyed to Foxiz News.

Sen. John Fetterman restated his critiques of anti-Israel demonstrators who have been disrupting travel and commerce. Since the start of the conflict between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas, protests against Israel have erupted across the United States. Some demonstrators have resorted to extreme measures to express their discontent with U.S. policy toward Israel. This has included trespassing in government buildings, blocking major bridges, and entering private businesses with bullhorns, chanting at employees.

Fetterman clarified his stance, affirming his support for the right to protest and hold diverse opinions.
“It is quintessentially American to protest and to do so in a respectful manner,” he stated. “I fully endorse that.”
However, he voiced his objection when these protests “disrupt lives.”
He highlighted the serious consequences of protesters obstructing traffic on major bridges and roads, stating, “There could be individuals who are in an emergency, or they may be late for work – risking job loss, or they may need to pick up or drop off their children.”
