The Federal Ministry of Works has introduced a deliberate complete closure of the Third Mainland Bridge.
In response to an announcement signed by the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos State, Olukorede Kesha, on Monday, the closure would begin at 12 midday on Wednesday, February 28, until noon on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
The assertion learns, “The Federal Ministry of Works needs to tell the motoring public that in continuation of the continuing rehabilitation works on the Third Mainland Bridge, each bound of the carriageways of the bridge could be closed to visitors from 12-noon on Wednesday, twenty eighths to 12-noon on Thursday, twenty-ninth February 2024; to permit the contractor to execute a severe side of the continuing restore works on the bridge.

Motorists had been suggested to cooperate with the visitor’s administration officers deployed to handle visitors and guarantee hitch-free actions to minimise discomfort throughout the 24 hours.
Whereas thanking most people for their continued cooperation and understanding, Keisha said every inconvenience had been regretted.
