In a recent development, FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc has officially named Roger Adou as the Managing Director, marking the commencement of his role from January 1, 2024. This significant announcement was made by Ore Famurewa, the Executive Director of Corporate Communications, through a statement issued on Monday in Lagos.
According to the disclosed statement, Roger Adou will be reporting to Ali Khan, the President of the Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa Business Group (MEPA). His operational base will be in Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to his elevation to the role of Managing Director, Mr. Adou served as the Regional Director for FrieslandCampina West Africa. In this capacity, he successfully oversaw a diverse region comprising 18 countries in West and Central Africa.
With an impressive track record spanning over 21 years in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry in Africa, Mr. Adou is recognized as a seasoned business leader. His expertise lies in effectively managing multicultural and diverse teams, positioning him as a valuable asset to the company.

Roger Adou takes over the reins from Ben Langat, who served as the Managing Director for almost seven impactful years at FrieslandCampina. Langat has decided to continue his career outside the company, marking the end of a significant era for the organization.
