The embattled National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has had his resignation confirmed by Nze Chidi Duru, who is the Deputy National Organising Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
During the meeting with Deputy National Chairman, North, Senator Kyari, and National Secretary of the party, Senator Omisore was denied entry, and his parking area was occupied by his deputy.
Omisore left the secretariat quickly to meet Adamu. He didn’t know why Adamu wasn’t there. Nze Chidi Duru said the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) expected Omisore to resign.
The party’s National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, left the meeting at the party secretariat in Abuja. The APC National Working Committee (NWC)meeting was chaired by Abubakar Kyari, the Deputy National Chairman (North).
The APC National Working Committee (NWC) meeting and Adamu’s absence coincide with his reported resignation and party crisis. Senator Adamu resigned along with Omisore.
