Some yet-to-be-identified variety of individuals might have been trapped as a five-storey construction underneath a development collapsed at Basden Avenue, Fegge, within the industrial metropolis of Onitsha, Anambra State.
It was gathered that the construction, meant to serve industrial functions on completion, collapsed within the early hours of Sunday. In contrast, it was on the final floor among the development employees.
An excavator has rapidly been moved to the positioning to start the evacuation of rubbles and doable rescue operations of trapped victims.
The explanation for the collapse has not yet been ascertained; however, as of Sunday, when this report was submitted, a source close to the realm stated that one individual had been rescued as rescue operations proceeded on the website.
