Former Senator representing Kaduna North Central Senatorial Zone, Shehu Sani has thanked the Almighty God for revealing the reality between himself and the speedy previous governor of the state, Nasiru El-Rufai on the $350 mortgage.
He revealed that El-Rufai insulted and cursed him publicly.
Addressing newsmen lately, the Senator defined that he did all he might to cease the speedy previous governor from putting the state beneath undue indebtedness.
He defined, “What extra would I inform them? I’ve mentioned all I wanted to say. Whereas in workplace I warned the Kaduna State authorities towards taking loans and even blocked entry to such loans.
“Former Governor Nasiru El-Rufai fought me on this, insulted me due to this and even cursed me. I instructed him then that point will reveal who really loves the individuals of Kaduna between myself and him.
“As we speak he’s not in energy and people he put in place at the moment are condemning his funds’ misappropriation, in addition to the loans they secured.”
Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani had complained of his incapacity to pay staff’ salaries as a result of debt burden of $350 million, second solely to Lagos State in Nigeria, left behind by his predecessor, El-Rufai.
The Kaduna State Home of Meeting has since initiated a probe into the funds.
Sani had referred to as for an unbiased probe of the previous administration.
