The Department of State Security has apprehended a 22-year-old woman named Fildausi Ahamadu on charges of making threats to commit suicide while targeting those she believed were responsible for the victory of the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, in the Kano State election petitions tribunal.
A trustworthy source within the DSS, who requested anonymity, confirmed the lady’s arrest on Tuesday. She had identified herself as a supporter of the New Nigeria People’s Party and Governor Abba Yusuf in a viral video circulating in the city.
In the video, Fildausi was heard in Hausa language verbally attacking the presiding judge in the tribunal, issuing a warning that she wouldn’t hesitate to use a bomb to commit suicide if she encountered the judge anywhere.
Likewise, she directed a warning towards Gawuna, stating, “You should not reveal your whereabouts, or else I am willing to use a bomb vest to commit suicide against you.”
Furthermore, the lady used the video to launch an offensive against Vice President Kashim Shettima, hurling insults at him and blaming him for the legal challenges faced by the NNPP in Kano State.
The source explained that the authorities are actively pursuing the arrest of Ahamadu and intend to bring her to court. “We are indeed taking Fildausi Musa Ahamadu to court because these threats should not be taken lightly,” the source emphasized.
Wow, that’s what I was exploring for, what a data!
