Operatives of the Nationwide Drug Legislation Enforcement Company have arrested a 20-year-old hair stylist, Josephine Odunu; and a 30-year-old dispatch rider, Edesemi Ikporo, for promoting and distributing illicit drug-laced chin-chin to high school college students and at social events in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The event was revealed by the spokesperson for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, in an announcement on Sunday, detailing the weekly arrests of suspects and medicines seized by the anti-narcotics company.
Babafemi famous, “NDLEA officers on patrol across the Opolo space of Yenagoa had on Sunday, March 10, 2024, intercepted the bike dispatch rider, Edesemi, and recovered 200 grammes of chin-chin produced with Hashish Sativa, which he was on a mission to ship to a purchaser.
