Femi Fani-Kayode, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has cautioned that terrorist strikes could target border states in Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode claimed that if Niger Republic and its allies opened their pathways to the terrorists, Sokoto and Lagos States may be vulnerable to strikes by ISIS and ISWAP.
He issued a warning that some of these terrorists have penetrated several States in the Southwest and Niger State.

In a tweet, Fani-Kayode stated: “The entire Nigerian western frontiers, from Sokoto to Lagos, would be vulnerable to terrorist assaults if Niger Republic and her allies purposefully establish a corridor for the elements of ISIS, AQIM, ISWAP, etc. to cross into Benin and Togo, ECOWAS‘ weakest link.
