The Tremendous Eagles of Nigeria ranked thirtieth within the 2024 Males’s World rating, dropping two locations from the earlier twenty eighth place.
The rating, as launched by the Federation of Worldwide Soccer Affiliation on Thursday, revealed that the Eagles topped the 2023 CAF African Cup of Nations winner, Cote d’Ivoire, and seven-time AFCON winner, Egypt.
Having participated in two pleasant matches after the AFCON tourney, the Eagles earned a 2-1 win in opposition to neighbouring rivals, Ghana, and fell to a 2-0 defeat in opposition to Mali.
As noticed by PUNCH On-line, the Eagles rank third in African soccer, falling solely behind the Atlas Lions of Morocco and the Teranga Lions of Senegal.
Rating first is 2022 World Cup winner Argentina, adopted by the tourney’s first runner-up, France.
