The protesters, led by the Osun NLC chairman, Christopher Arapasopo, started their march from Freedom Park, Osogbo, and moved by way of MDS street, chanting anti-President Bola Tinubu songs.
The NLC associates that participated in the protest were the Tutorial Employees Union of Universities, Radio, TV, Theatre and Arts Employees Union of Nigeria, and Nigeria Union of Journalists, among others.

Addressing the protesters, ASUU Coordinator for Akure Zone, Dr. Adeola Egbedokun, lamented the hardship that Nigerians had been going through and referred to the Federal Authorities to reverse its insurance policies, which have impacted negatively on the folks.

In his remarks, Osun NLC chairman, Arapasopo, referred to the Federal Authorities immediately for the financial hardship of Nigerians.
