Godwin Amobi Ogar, an elected member of the House of Representatives under the Labour Party, expressed his amazement at President Bola Tinubu’s intelligence and readiness after meeting him.
Amobi, who was elected into the House of Representatives for Isiuakwato and Umunochi Federal Constituencies in Abia State, said he didn’t realize Tinubu had been intelligent or prepared to serve Nigeria. Following a meeting between Tinubu and opposition-elected members on Thursday to resolve the leadership crisis in the National Assembly, the Labour Party politician disclosed that opposition elected senators and House of Representatives elected members from various parties, including PDP, LP and NNPP, attended a meeting at the State House in Abuja, Foxiz Daily reports.

Amobi said to Fox News reporters after the meeting, “I’m so thrilled to have been elected and to hear my president speak today; it’s the best day of my life. To my surprise, this man is incredibly intelligent. I was shocked to find out how prepared this man is to serve this country.
The President showed great love and hope for a better country and had faith that Nigeria could become a great nation. I am pleased to say we will be in a more stable home thanks to today’s meeting. We agreed to move forward with the government’s decision. I’m a member of the Labour Party; don’t worry. “The party is not at stake; we are talking about building a nation and the unity of the people.”
