From Paris, France, where he attended the ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ event organized by French President Emmanuel Macron, President Bola Tinubu has traveled to London, United Kingdom.
On Friday, the President returned from his official trip to France after an impressive summit participation. Recall that President Tinubu will leave Nigeria on June 20 to attend the Summit beginning on June 22 and will return to Nigeria on Saturday, June 24, according to a statement made on June 19 by Mr. Dele Alake, Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy.
However, Tinubu, who was previously expected to return to Abuja on Saturday, will now travel to London, United Kingdom, for a brief private visit in order to return for the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival, according to a statement from the presidential spokesman on Saturday.

In addition to attending the event and doing a good job of representing Nigeria, President Tinubu also held high-profile side meetings with other heads of state and government, prominent business figures, and the CEOs of top multilateral and development finance organizations from around the world.
“The summit gave the President the chance to publicly advocate for expanding fiscal wiggle room, economic justice for Africa as the world quickens the pace of energy transition, and the urgency of addressing the pressing concerns of poverty and climate change.
“President Tinubu will now travel to London, United Kingdom, for a brief private visit. He was originally expected to return to Abuja on Saturday. The impending Eid-el-Kabir festival won’t interfere with the President’s return to the nation.
