AXA Mansard, a member of AXA and the global leader in insurance and asset management, has empowered 200 female-managed small and medium enterprises with financial literacy and digital business skills.
An announcement disclosed that, in collaboration with SME 100 Africa, a two-day coaching was recently held in Lagos as a part of AXA’s lined-up programmes to commemorate this 12-month Worldwide Ladies’ Day.
The Head of Advertising and Marketing of AXA Mansard, Olusesan Ogunyooye, said, “The coaching goals are to empower female SME house owners with abilities to enhance enterprise output and prepare them for the rising financial alternatives available in an increasingly digital market.”
Ogunyooye is famous that the transfer was in step with AXA Mansard’s sustainability agenda, explaining that the corporation was satisfied that assisting ladies using its inclusive safety programmes was pivotal to its objective of appearing for human progress by defending what issues and its mission of transferring from being a payer to an associate.

He furthered that specializing in digital abilities is necessary because the corporation realizes the significance of digital skills to the expansion of the SME sector in Nigeria and desires to ensure that women are sufficiently empowered to contribute to that progress.
“It’s virtually trite to say that SMEs are the engine for financial progress, particularly in growing international locations like Nigeria, where over 45 million adults are enterprise house owners. What must be frequently mentioned is how Nigeria unlocks that potential for financial improvement and how much of that potential might be unlocked by and for women.
“At AXA Mansard, we’re aware that digital will play a significant role in unlocking these present alternatives and Nigeria’s financial future. So, to ensure that women are equally represented in unlocking these future potentials, we’ve collaborated with SME 100 Africa to assist them in growing the required abilities,” he enunciated.
Based on Ogunyooye, the agency’s digital and monetary literacy abilities selection is deliberate.
“We recognize the duo’s facility. We believe equipping these SMEs with the ability to attract more prospects might be a quicker way to empower them.
“We see that they’ve superb services and products, but they should understand how to attract value for themselves by attracting the correct prospects, and you’ll agree with me that nearly all buyer segments are online in one way or another right now,” he added.
He added that with the empowerment, the agency served SMEs to search out and entice prospects.
