Former Coordinators of the Grassroots Improvement Initiative, a political arm of the Peoples Democratic Celebration in 12 native authorities areas of Rivers State have pledged their assist for the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

“In 2012, GDI’s curiosity was to guard, defend and promote our brother-in-law, President Goodluck Jonathan, due to our mom and sister, Dame Persistence Jonathan; and it yielded good dividends to the state.
“By means of that wrestle, our brother, Chief Nyesom Wike, grew to become governor in 2015; and in 2019, when Abuja politicians mentioned he won’t return for a second tenure, all of us rallied round him and defended our votes, and he served for eight years.
