President Bola Tinubu on Thursday informed the management of the tenth Senate that the integrity of the Nationwide Meeting remained intact despite allegations of price range padding over the previous few weeks.
He mentioned that his administration always encouraged cooperation between the chief and judiciary to develop the nation.
Tinubu mentioned this when he hosted the Senate’s management to a dinner on Thursday to interrupt Ramadan quickly at the State Home, Abuja.
Particular Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in an announcement launched within the early hours of Friday titled ‘President Tinubu: We is not going to enable anybody to undermine our safety; killers of troopers in Delta State will face sure justice.’

Senator Abdul Ningi (Bauchi Central, PDP) alleged that the Tinubu-led authorities are implementing a price range other than the one authorized on January 1, 2024.
Ningi, who chaired the Northern Senators’ Discussion Board and Senate Committee on Inhabitants, had contended in a BBC Hausa Service interview that a N25tn price range was debated and handed, not the N28.7tn that’s presently being applied.
He maintained that N3.7tn couldn’t be accounted for within the 2024 price range.
Nevertheless, on March 12, at the plenary, the Senate suspended Senator Ningi for three months over this declaration.
Reacting to the allegations for the first time publicly, Tinubu said, “I do know the arithmetic of the price range and the numbers that I dropped at the Nationwide Meeting, and I do know what numbers got here again.
“I admire all of you for expediting the deal with the price range. Thanks very much.
“Those who speak about malicious embellishment within the price range didn’t perceive the arithmetic or check with the baseline of what I introduced. However, your integrity is unbroken.”
Tinubu thanked the lawmakers, saying that Nigerians are on the “turning nook” of the financial challenges.
“The pure problem we face will probably be over. In the present financial situation, we’re about turning the nook.
“Our income has improved. We now need to regulate our expenditures and manage ourselves better.
“Mild is at the finish of the tunnel, and Nigerians will quickly smile once more,” the President affirmed.
Tinubu also thanked Nationwide Meeting members for the speedy consideration given to the Pupil Mortgage Modification Invoice, urging extra tolerance, forgiveness, and charity throughout Ramadan.
He mentioned the perpetrators of the killing of troopers in Delta State will face sure justice, warning that his administration is not going to tolerate assaults on the navy and safety infrastructure.

The President additionally affirmed that the navy would benefit from his administration’s help in neutralising national safety threats.
“Our armed forces are working hard, and we will not allow attackers to undermine the integrity and worth of our armed forces and their management.

In his remarks, Senate President Godswill Akpabio thanked the President for hosting the lawmakers on the Internet and noted that everyday interactions would improve understanding and productive governance.
